Boat stop for my friends and I, as we were exploring lake Cumberland. Yes, there is boat parking but it is limited, so be prepared to wait if you're coming on your boat.
Now, for our dinner we got the pepperoni pizza and a Tennessee Wings something appetizer. Least to say, the appetizer was a whole lot better than the pizza. (Not surprised) but I would dare to say that the appetizer is enough for one, so if you like wings just get the appetizer. They're crispy, crunchy, and flavorful. I loved how they weren't stingy with their BBQ sauce, and the bowl came with carrots and celery. -

Cumberland tap changed DRASTICALLY since we were there last. The options for food include: 3 burgers, 5 or 6 appetizers (wings, potato skins, pretzel with beer cheese, etc). No salads or vegetables in sight. Don't eat red meat? You're relegated to the appetizers for dinner, as there's no seafood or chicken options. Vegetarian? Walk the other way back to your boat.
On to the food. Our group of 4 got 3 burgers, a 10-piece wings, and a few beers and waters. Only 1/2 the waters come out, and the beers are kind of flat. Food takes about 30 mins to come out. When it does, the 3 burgers come out and one was missing the fries and some fixings. Missing the wings... well, the fries are taken care of with an eye roll of the waitress. 20 minutes late (everyone else has already eaten) the waitress brings out potato skins. Nope, didn't order those, although she seemed pretty confused by that. She took them away. Another 15 minutes later, we ask about the wings. She was very rude saying that it wasn't her fault and they would be out eventually, we just needed to be more patient. Ok... well 15 more minutes and they finally came out. They were piping hot but oddly soggy and just OK. Mostly breading, not a lot of meat. In the end, I think she didn't want to admit that she either wrote the order down incorrectly or forgot to put the order in, because at that point it was 45 mins to an hour later.
Overall, the food is lacking in healthy options and variety, the quality is just OK, and the service is painful. I think Cumberland Tap benefits from being the only pony show in town - they don't really have any competition since they're on the lake. Hope they get the stuff together! -

Great location for the guest that are staying at the resort. The place is updated, rather nice inside there is outdoor seat available. Menu is small, more items definitely should be added, like seafood considering the fact they are on the water.
I have order the fish tacos, I will say it was lacking flavor. Needed more sriracha, lime, salt pepper. T was bland.
Staff was friendly and attentive.
The sad part was they do not serve alcohol on Sundays!! (Due to leasing agreements) I would like to come back on a Friday or Saturday. It's good for family and groups, so bring your friends.
Seems like this area can get rather busy would recommend arriving early. -

Very nice place. The people are super nice
Beer selection good but don't order any of the food
For the prices and how they serve it I've been in many dive bars better than This again the people here are very nice. But for a resort like this this is pretty pitiful -

Visited on. Monday evening at 7pm. One other customer on outside patio. Easy to park Boat but would be more difficult on a busy night. Ordered the burger with fries. Both were excellent. Fries hot and fresh and seasoned perfect. Burger was huge and cooked perfectly. Wait staff was attentive and very courteous. Price was what we expected for a restaurant on the water at a major marina.
